After selecting the nearest center, the candidate needs to fill up a GED demographic form and can take a GED practice test. Finally to take the authentic exam, it is required to have the approved GED application, $20 in cash or money order, the demographic form and a Missouri Id. You can either present a driver’s license or just the license number as your identification.

The public libraries in Missouri provide plenty of GED preparation materials although there is no particular format for the preparation. There are plenty of materials that can be found from internet resources. These are some of the ways of self preparation and they are worthless if there is lack of dedication and hard work. There is also another option, to attend adult education centers of the Missouri department of elementary and secondary education. They provide classes for people to get prepared for the GED tests to be taken. Using the internet to prepare for GED tests is also advisable as it’s the easiest way to gain access to available GED materials. To pass a test, the general criterion is that the candidate must not get points below 450; which is an average in all subjects. So a minimum of 2250 has to be acquired by the test attending candidate. The Missouri GED is considered by more than 90% of the US employers to recruit employees for their companies. It is equivalent to a High School Diploma and this may be the best opportunity for the locals of Missouri to establish themselves.
