You are given 75 minutes to answer 50 questions and 45 minutes on writing an essay for Language Arts-writing. For mathematics, you will be given 50 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. The minimum test scores for Massachusetts GED is 410 for each test and an average score of 450 on all five tests. The total score to pass GED must be 2250 or exceed 2250 if possible.
The requirements to sit for GED test is 18 years and above without any qualifications. Individuals with disabilities may request for special accommodation when sitting for GED test. Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement and must also be a resident in Massachusetts. The fee for the registration is $65 which includes $60 per battery and the processing fee costs $5. If you would like to go for a retest, this will cost you $15. You will be charged $200 as a replacement for damaged exam equipment. $7 will be charged on a duplicate of your transcript and $2 for a certification letter.
