We’ve all heard of Charles Darwin’s theory about how we evolved from the same place as monkeys. This famous theory is known as: “Survival of the Fittest.” This theory was made popular when he published his extremely controversial book The Origin Of Species, on July 20, 1858. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s the people in the best physical shape who will be the most successful. It means that whoever is the “fittest” - best able to adapt to their place in the world - will be the most successful.

To be able to get the most out of your personal potential, you’ll need to ask yourself what is required of you in your environment, in order to be better equipped to survive than the competition. So what does it take to make you “fit” in your environment? Education. Pure and simple. No matter how smart, talented, or experienced you are, if you don’t have an education, the competitors in your job market will be considered much more “fit” than you, and will gain the success that you deserve.

Adaptation is the key to being fittest in your environment. It’s through this focused adaptation that will allow you to become best matched to your environment. Adaptation means that you will need to fine-tune yourself so that you can deal with everything that comes to pass within your lifetime. It means that you must be able to keep changing to meet expectations of you, with virtually no limitations. This means that you should be able to make fast decisions with regards to what changes you need to make in order to best fit into your environment, and surpass the competition with your “fitness”; then with time, you’ll be able to deal with more and more circumstances, which will allow you to adapt even more quickly.

Education is one of the first things that employers consider, when looking at resumes, and if yours doesn’t include a GED diploma - General Education Diploma - few employers will take the time to consider you any further. Your carefully drawn up resume, which describes your “fitness” for work in the best possible sense, will be tossed in the recycle bin.

A GED diploma is considered the minimum for any job that has a reasonable pay, and the potential for growth. Moreover, when growth is possible, a GED diploma gives you the ability to build upon your education, to further your “fitness” for the world of success.

Consider your GED diploma as your first step to adapting to your environment, and becoming the “fittest” possible, to maximizing the success of your life.
